Register for this Event

On October 17th the USGBC National Capital Region Community is hosting the very first DMV Net Zero Schools Summit, assembling an impressive group of participants from around the region, including the brain trust of net zero school development that exists right here in the DMV community. The Summit’s goal is to host a candid, holistic discussion of planning, designing, building and operating net zero schools to provide actionable information for the entire group of stakeholders behind school construction and operations. The Summit will include three separate sessions with a mix of formats (discussions, panels, case study presentations) covering critical elements of early design and planning, construction, and operations and maintenance. This half-day summit will focus on 4 Net zero energy schools – Discovery Elementary, Wilde Lake, Holabird and Graceland, presented by the project teams and school representatives.
