Mr. Charles E. ‘Chas’ Roemer, IV discusses the world’s first net-zero LNG export and industrial gas production complex.
Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center for the next installment of EnergySource: Innovation Stream. The series highlights new energy technologies with the potential to reshape the global energy system through discussions with companies and individuals working diligently to bring those innovations to market at scale.
The Global Energy Center will host Charles E. ‘Chas’ Roemer, IV, Chairman, G2 Net-Zero LNG, who will discuss the world’s first net-zero LNG export and industrial gas production complex, expected to be deployed by 2026.
Natural gas will play a critical role in the energy transition. To remain competitive on gas markets with carbon adjustment mechanisms, global developers will have to continue implementing innovative solutions to cut greenhouse gas emissions in piped and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
Chas Roemer will discuss how G2 Net-Zero LNG partners with several global energy innovators including Siemens Energy Inc., 8 Rivers/NET Power, and EJM Associates LLC, to build the world’s first net-zero LNG export and industrial gas production complex. Mr. Roemer argues that the complex will be the first to deliver a profitable portfolio of uniquely differentiated energy products while achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from the producing reservoir through to the loading dock, all by 2026. He will describe how the G2 complex will capture 4 million tons of CO2 and produce – without emissions – argon, nitrogen and electricity for sale to create lower per unit costs than traditional LNG facilities.
**Charles E. ‘Chas’ Roemer, IV is Chairman and represents the largest owner of G2 Net-Zero LNG, LLC which will be the world’s first net zero emissions LNG development.Register for this Event
