The Citizens’ Climate Lobby DC will host a conversation with Dr. Dylan Selterman.
Action on climate change is essentially a social process. In the Department of Psychology at the University of Maryland, Dr. Selterman teaches about social and interpersonal behaviors, including those relevant to our broad understanding of climate change. Who acts on climate, and what motivates action, was recently chronicled in Dr. Selterman’s article in National Geographic “What a Simple Psychological Test Reveals About Climate Change”. Beyond his work at UMD, Dr. Selterman lends his insights to Citizens’ Climate Lobby advocates, helping volunteers improve their approach to talking with people from different political persuasions.
