Join the Center for Public Engagement with Science & Technology for coffee and moderated conversation with Dr. Katharine Hayhoe (Texas Tech University), Dr. Katy Hinman (AAAS DoSER: Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion), Daniel Barry (AAAS Local Science Engagement Network) and Emily Therese Cloyd (AAAS Center for Public Engagement with Science and Technology).
Incorporating stories about climate responses into your everyday conversations or into more formal communication about climate change can empower people to take action, by showing what others like them have done and how it makes a difference. This discussion will focus on ways of responding to questions about how to take individual and community-level action on climate change. The event will include a short film from the How We Respond project (see https://howwerespond.aaas.org for more information).
Coffee and light food will be provided.
Please let us know you’re coming (seating is capped at 50 people)
