WCEE’s Regulatory Roundtable Breakfast
One Federal Decision, One Year In
Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 8:00 am
The federal environmental review and authorization for energy infrastructure often requires review across several agencies, with varying degrees of coordination on timing and scope, leading to delays and uncertainties. Reforming this process has been a cornerstone of the Trump Administration’s domestic policy agenda.
In support, the Administration has advanced the concept of “One Federal Decision” – intended to foster a coordinated and cooperative federal review of major infrastructure projects. Thus far, twelve federal agencies have committed to implementing the process developed by the White House Office of Management and Budget and the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
Join us for a moderated discussion on the implementation of One Federal Decision thus far and critical next steps for achieving the intended improvements.
