In December, D.C.’s City Council voted in favor of the DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018, which establishes a 100% renewable energy target by 2032, with a 10% solar energy carve-out by 2041. Not only will these efforts keep the District along a green path, but it will also provide 15,000 jobs, according to Solar Power World.
While D.C. has made a concerted effort to convert to solar energy, how can its major developers also get involved in going green?
