In December, D.C.’s City Council voted in favor of the DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018, which establishes a 100% renewable energy target by 2032, with a 10% solar energy carve-out by 2041. Not only will these efforts keep the District along a green path, but it will also provide 15,000 jobs, according to Solar Power World.

While D.C. has made a concerted effort to convert to solar energy, how can its major developers also get involved in going green?

Join Bisnow for our first ever Greater DC Solar and Sustainability event, as today’s top developers, thinkers, and policy-makers come together to break down why developers should invest in solar, as well as the various ways solar can make a difference to our local community.
