This program features top government officials and private practitioners who will examine recent developments in the Obama administration’s criminal environmental enforcement program including renewed focus on next generation enforcement, the worker safety initiative and new policies such as the “Yates” memo on individual corporate responsibility. The program will also examine EPA’s year end statistics on environmental crimes prosecutions and discuss trends in EPA’s and DOJ’s enforcement of air, water and land disposal regulations.
