With the release of the 2018 IPCC report, and the recent Global Climate Action Summit in California, more people and organizations are getting serious about an all-hands-on-deck approach to climate action. This has accelerated the development of new initiatives, policies, programs, and notable projects in climate smart agriculture in the United States and the world. These new developments can be tough to keep track of, which is where this month’s FAO-EcoAgriculture Partners Landscape Roundtable comes in. Join us for a discussion of the latest in U.S. domestic-focused activity to scale climate smart agriculture (an upcoming roundtable will focus on developments abroad).
This roundtable will explore recent insights and innovations in climate smart agriculture and how these practices, programs, technologies and policies can help advance objectives including and beyond carbon sequestration. Invited speakers will provide a tour of key recent developments
