Looking to take that next step in your career? Get your LEED Green Associate credential! USGBC National Capital Region is partnering with the University of the District of Columbia’s Center for Architectural Innovation + Building Science to host a course that will prepare you for success on the LEED Green Associate exam.
The LEED Green Associate credential designates individuals who have a documented, up-to-date understanding of the most current green building principles and practices. It denotes foundational knowledge of green design, construction, and operations.
This course prepares students to study for and successfully pass the LEED Green Associate exam. Upon completing this course, students will be able to define sustainability and basic green building principals and will have a firm understanding of the evolution of LEED and its core concepts. Students will engage in a category by category exploration of the LEED system, using case studies to understand sustainable building in practice. They will be able to identify the steps and requirements of the certification process and the resources available to support this process. This course also includes test-taking strategies, sample exam questions, and practical tips for studying for the LEED Green Associate exam.
