Senate Environment Committee Hearing on Nominees & EPA’s Agenda

The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works will hold a Business Meeting to consider several nominations and other items to be immediately followed by a hearing to examine the Environmental Protection Agency’s agenda, focusing on protecting the environment and allowing America’s economy to grow.
Nominations to be reviewed include:
**William Charles McIntosh, of Michigan, to be Assistant Administrator, Office of International and Tribal Affairs, Environmental Protection Agency;
**Peter C. Wright, of Michigan, to be Assistant Administrator, Office of Land and Emergency Management, Environmental Protection Agency;
**Mary Bridget Neumayr, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Council on Environmental Quality;
**John C. Fleming, of Louisiana, to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development
