Friday, September 14

9:00 am – 12:15 pm

Research is progressing rapidly on environmental taxation for addressing climate change as well as other environmental and energy market failures. The objective of the workshop is to bring together scholars in academia, government, research and other organizations, for two days of presentations and stimulating discussion. Presenters will discuss and examine key policy-oriented issues from public economics, industrial organizations, and applied econometrics.

The workshop will feature plenary sessions that include 30-minute presentations by authors, discussants, and audience discussion. In addition, we will include a few short presentations (5–10 minutes) by graduate students, giving an opportunity to sketch out an area of their current research and highlight some central findings
