Engaging Employees with Energy InformationJuly 31 | 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM (add to my calendar)
One way to overcome this issue is to provide employees with timely, vivid, and graphical displays of energy use and other data broken down by department, floor, or area. As the ability to link sub-metered data to IT systems that generate and broadcast compelling graphical information increases, energy managers can take advantage of this new tool for employee engagement.
This month’s ENERGY STAR Partner web conference will explore how energy programs are leveraging energy information to engage and affect employee behavior and energy use. Joining us will be:
Kelly Molinari from the L’Oreal Group who will discuss the energy information system used to engage employees in an energy competition between the floors at the L’Oreal North American Headquarters; and,
Tom Fenimore from Duke Energy who will discuss how Duke Energy developed its floor-level and business unit energy monitoring and communication systems for its headquarters building and how this system is affecting employee behavior and energy use.
Pre-registration for this web conference is recommended. To register, go to http://energystar.webex.com/meeting and select the Monthly Web Conference on July 31, 2012 from the calendar. The meeting password is “network."
If this will be your first ENERGY STAR web conference, please test your browser and computer system’s compatibility with WebEx before joining the web conference.
About the Web Conferences
The ENERGY STAR Energy Management Web Conferences usually are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Eastern. Each monthly web conference is structured around a different energy management topic that provides a starting point for discussion. The web conferences are convened for the benefit of ENERGY STAR partners and provide a forum for sharing successful energy management practices.
