The College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) is thrilled to partner with Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) to host the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Regional CCL Conference. Come and engage in conversations with politicians, scientists, medical professionals, community activists, environmental justice experts, and many others; and learn about resources for climate change adaptation and mitigation and develop skills to help create the political will for a livable world.
The conference will discuss region and state specific strategies to mitigate climate change, help network with other volunteers in our region to encourage each other and provide advanced training in lobbying, working with the media, and other specific skills. The conference hopes to accomplish these goals through performances, panel discussions, breakout sessions, sustainability tours and presentations.
The program is still being developed and some changes may occur prior to the event. The agenda will be updated here as speakers are confirmed.
