Today, the eight “Arctic nations” –those that have land above the Arctic Circle—and their fellow countries from around the globe are looking northward more than ever for economic, political, environmental, and other reasons.
In May 2017, the U.S. Department of State released a book containing excerpts from the blog, also entitled Our Arctic Nation . Please join to hear from a selection of “Our Arctic Nation” contributors about their experiences exploring their state’s Arctic connections and for discussion about national Arctic identity and the importance of the region to America’s future.
